Tango. Buenosairesa Nakts

On May 23, in Jūrmala, at the Dzintari Concert Hall, an evening dedicated to the sound of tango and the rich musical tradition of Argentina will take place.

The program “Tango. Buenos Aires Night” brings together works by Astor Piazzolla, Carlos Gardel, Ángel Villoldo, and Gerardo Matos Rodríguez — composers whose music has become a symbol of South American expressiveness and its unmistakable rhythmic character.

The stage will feature accordionist Roberto Palermo (Italy) and violinist Alexey Kolesnikov (Latvia). Both are improvising musicians, each with a unique style, refined sound, and vivid personal charisma. Their joint performances always create a special atmosphere where strict musical form naturally intertwines with improvisation and a fresh perspective on tango classics.

This evening promises to be a rare opportunity to experience Argentine music in an intimate, sincere, and truly vibrant performance.FEATURED ARTISTS:ROBERTO PALERMO (accordion)
