Special Guests Announced for Jack White’s Sigulda Concert

On May 30, the summer concert season at the Sigulda Castle Ruins Open-Air Stage will kick off with a performance by the iconic musician Jack White. The 12-time Grammy Award winner and recipient of numerous other prestigious accolades - songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, actor, and one of the most significant figures in modern rock music of this century - will soon deliver his only concert in the Baltic States. Joining the previously announced special guests, Latvian alternative rock band Bēdu Brāļi, Estonian rock group Echolovehas now been added to the lineup and will also take the stage to warm up the audience. Bēdu Brāļi is a Latvian alternative rock band founded in Riga in 2020. The group consists of Oskars Tupuriņš (vocals/guitar), Jānis Liepiņš (bass), and Pēteris Ozols (drums). Their sound is influenced by the early 2000s Latvian independent music scene, particularly bands such as Židrūns, In.Stora, and Bērnības milicija. Bēdu Brāļi are known for their distinctive sound, blending elements of shoegaze, psychedelic rock, and post-punk, as well as for their energetic live performances. Their 2022 debut album Duende received the Zelta Mikrofons award for Best Rock/Metal Album. Echolove is a psychedelic hard rock band from Estonia, active since 2018 and considered one of the most exciting acts on the country’s modern rock scene. They cite Jack White as their main inspiration, while influences from Queens of the Stone Age and Radiohead can also be heard in their work. Their music is a dynamic blend - loud, explosive, and intense, yet infused with direct tenderness and raw emotion. Renowned musician and multi-instrumentalist Jack White has recently released two new singles, showcasing his signature fusion of raw rock and experimental sound. Critics widely agree that these songs are not merely a comeback, but a reaffirmation of White’s artistic identity - moving away from direct self-expression in favor of a more symbolic, narrative-driven style. The musician is rapidly approaching his summer world tour, which will begin right here in Latvia on May 30 at the Sigulda Castle Ruins Open-Air Stage. A limited number of fan bus tickets for transportation to and from the concert in Sigulda are also available.
