P-JAZZ | AMPHITRIO + Jam Session

13. novembrī Pegaza Viesistabā uzstāsies Amphitrio – spilgts mūsdienu džeza trio no Rumānijas, kas izceļas ar oriģinālu skanējumu, drosmīgu improvizāciju un izsmalcinātu muzikālo valodu.

Trio sastāvā muzicē pianists un komponists Andrejs Petrače (Andrei Petrache), basists Aleksandru Marins (Mike Alex) un bundzinieks Filips Gorons (Philip Goron). Amphitrio kompozīcijās organiski saplūst modernais džezs, ziemeļu džeza noskaņas, Balkānu un Austrumu mūzikas ietekmes, smagā roka enerģija un elektroniskās mūzikas elementi, radot neatkārtojamu un daudzslāņainu skaņu pasauli.

Ar albumiem "Points, Seasons" (2023) un "Timelines" (2024) Amphitrio ir nostiprinājis savu vietu Eiropas laikmetīgā džeza vidē, sniedzot vairāk nekā 100 koncertu Eiropā, Āzijā un ASV.

Pianists un komponists Andrejs Petrače absolvējis Bukarestes Nacionālo mūzikas universitāti, iegūstot maģistra grādu kompozīcijā. Viņa skaņdarbi saņēmuši vairāk nekā 30 starptautiskus apbalvojumus un tiek atskaņoti daudzviet Eiropā un Āzijā.

Basists Maiks Alekss (Aleksandru Marins) sadarbojas ar Bukarestes Džeza orķestri, Big Band Radio, Bukarestes Simfonisko orķestri un vairākiem ievērojamiem džeza un akadēmiskās mūzikas māksliniekiem.

Savukārt bundzinieks Filips Gorons ir pieprasīts mūziķis klasiskās, pasaules mūzikas un džeza projektos, sadarbojoties ar Žorža Enesku Filharmoniju un Bukarestes Nacionālo operetes un mūzikla teātri. Viņš ir arī SONOR oficiālais mākslinieks.

On 13 November, Amphitrio, an outstanding contemporary jazz trio from Romania, will perform at Pegaza Viesistaba. Renowned for their original sound, bold improvisation, and refined musical language, the ensemble has become one of the most exciting voices on the European jazz scene.

The trio features pianist and composer Andrei Petrache, bassist Alexandru Marin (Mike Alex), and drummer Philip Goron. Amphitrio's music seamlessly blends modern jazz with Nordic jazz aesthetics, Balkan and Middle Eastern influences, the energy of heavy rock, and elements of electronic music, creating a distinctive and richly layered sonic landscape.

With the albums Points, Seasons (2023) and Timelines (2024), Amphitrio has established a strong presence in the European contemporary jazz scene, performing more than 100 concerts across Europe, Asia, and the United States.

Pianist and composer Andrei Petrache graduated from the National University of Music Bucharest with a Master's degree in Composition. His works have received more than 30 international awards and are regularly performed throughout Europe and Asia.

Bassist Mike Alex (Alexandru Marin) collaborates with the Bucharest Jazz Orchestra, Big Band Radio, the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra, and numerous distinguished jazz and classical musicians.

Drummer Philip Goron is a highly sought-after performer in classical, world music, and jazz projects. He has collaborated with the George Enescu Philharmonic and the National Operetta and Musical Theatre Bucharest, and is also an official SONOR artist.

Amphitrio's concert offers a rare opportunity to experience contemporary jazz without stylistic boundaries—dynamic, emotionally charged, and musically captivating. The evening will appeal both to devoted jazz enthusiasts and to listeners eager to discover fresh and unconventional musical experiences.

As is tradition at P-JAZZ concerts, the evening will conclude with an open jam session, where all musicians and improvisation enthusiasts are warmly invited to join the stage.
